              • Tell your students that including
               an authoritative source in a PSA
               may make it more compelling.
               However, this is meant to be
               short and should not be done
               for every piece of data in the
               PSA (which is why learning to
               paraphrase and use their own
               words is important).


              Activity 22
              • Help your students distinguish
               between the expressions that
               need additional information and
               those which would be better left
               aside for adding expressions of
               support and solidarity.
              • Once again, take time to
               show your students how to
               paraphrase what is written.
              • The idea behind adding
               expressions for showing
               support and solidarity is that
               once you have explored the
               sources, you can modify or
               change them.
