Activity 22
              • Explain that students are going
to check the plan they made
               in the previous activity to
rack 55 provoke the same reactions they
               determine if their comic will
               had while reading the story
           T they selected.
              • Encourage them to reread
what they wrote in Activity 12,
so that they produce the same
               effects as those in the
               comic strip.
              • Check the conclusion that
serves as an example in Activity
12 and go through the example
               with them.
              • Play the track and tell students
               to follow along with the
               transcript. They should focus
               on what the interlocutors
               are saying.
              • Reread the example with them
and discuss the notes that are
               not part of the track.

              • Make clear how the interlocutors
               are working with the elements
inherent to a mystery story (the
clues) in order to provoke the
same effect on the reader of their
               comic strip.
              • Point out the way each interlocutor introduces his or her opinion supports it with evidence and provides
               examples to convince others.
              • Encourage students to scan the plan they made before and to discuss whether or not there are any details
missing, or if they should emphasize any elements that are relevant to the story.
