Activity 4
• Explain why students are
going to describe unexpected
situations in a conversation and
what is expected of them when
they finish the practice.
• Elicit the steps that are needed
to give an oral testimony in a
conversation and what they
need to do.
• Involve students in the planning
of the product.
• Ask students to form pairs for
the oral testimony. They will
work together throughout
this practice.
• Encourage students to look
for oral testimonies about
unexpected situations to use
in the first part of this practice.
There are a few in their Reader’s
Book, but we recommend
looking for others elsewhere.
