• Have students observe the

they represent.
• Elicit what they have in common.
You can expect answers such
as that they are aspects of
Mexican culture. Ask them to
provide examples.
• Discuss other aspects of
their culture.
• Ask your students to form pairs
to complete the comparative
chart. They will work together
throughout this practice.
• Help them pick a topic. They
could choose one as a class and
have a discussion at the end of
the practice, or there could be
three to five different topics.
