that best suits the question in
the example.

brainstorm some questions
about the topic they
selected before.

remind them to think about their
arguments when deciding on
the topic.
• Tell them to come up with
several questions, as these will
serve as guidelines when they
do their research.
• Ask them to think about their
concerns, what they already
know about the topic, why it is
relevant and interesting for the
audience, and how they want to
influence the audience.
